The position also supports HR with safety compliance, handbook updates, and calendar management, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow across the organization.
HR/Payroll Manager:
CRU Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources & Payroll Manager to lead HR operations and payroll administration in our Muncie, IN office, supporting our core values of Partnerships, Quality, and Community. This role oversees all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, performance documentation, policy management, and staff training, while maintaining compliance with safety, HIPAA, OSHA, and multi-state payroll regulations. The HR & Payroll Manager will process bi-weekly payroll through Paycom, manage benefits and retirement plans, maintain accurate records, and ensure secure handling of sensitive employee information. Additional responsibilities include administering workers’ compensation claims, coordinating employee programs, and addressing complaints or grievances with professionalism and confidentiality. This position plays a vital role in supporting employees, strengthening company culture, and ensuring efficient and compliant HR and payroll operations.
